any plans to get moborobo working with this phone? it works up to a point on usb but not at all on wifi..

Since you can use Moborobo on USB fine, for WiFi connection, I would like to comfirm with you whether you have installed MoboDaemon. Mobo Daemon is used to establish the communication between your phone and PC.

installed everything, entered the validation code, the pc detects "android device" for about 30 seconds or so in the usb connection section, then reverts back to the usual 'connect your device' message.

First, I would like to confirm with you the Moborobo client and MoboDaemon version you are running on your PC and Android Phone.
If you are using Moborobo v2.0.1.238, the correct MoboDaemon version should be V2.2.XX.
If you are using Moborobo v2.0.2.290, the correct MoboDaemon version should be V2.3.XX.
You can check Mobo Daemon version through Settings--Applications--Manage Applications on your device.

You will not be able to use the WIFI connection mode if the MoboDaemon version does not match the Moborobo client version.
